Avoiding LLM slop

When I built this platform, I wrote about why I am building the platform. When LLMs came out in public usage, I thought that AI could be a good way to repurpose content into different forms and build an audience. If a blogging platform can do this out the box that is promotion on steroids.

However, LLMs turned out to be average at best. At lykhari, we value originality and authenticity. AI generated content is taking over feeds. It will become even more deafening. I believe lykhari and it's writers should stick to originality. AI models, right now, are not capable of generating knowledge so we will stay away from generating slop.

Telling someone that their writing seems like ChatGPT is almost an insult. What good can we expect from AI generated content. In favor of authenticity, originality, and human element we will stear clear from increasing the AI slop. Lykhari still has AI curated marketing feed but it just picks shareable interesting bits from your writings verbatim. You can get inspired by them, share them, or ignore them.
