How do I write a post on lykhari?

  1. Go to Dashboard → Posts.
  2. Click "start a post".
  3. Enter a title and write in the editor.
  4. Type / anywhere in the body to insert a block: heading, numbered list, bulleted list, checklist, quote, code block, divider, image, embed (YouTube and others), table, or text alignment.

How do I create a page on lykhari?

  1. Go to Dashboard → Pages.
  2. Click "create a page". Pages work like posts but are not part of the post feed. Use them for standalone content such as an About page.

How do I edit an existing post or page?

  1. Go to Dashboard → Posts or Dashboard → Pages.
  2. Click the title of the post or page.
  3. Make changes. Changes save automatically as you type.

How do I add images to a post?
Type / in the editor and select "Image", or drag and drop an image file directly into the editor.

How do I set a post's URL, SEO description, or category?

  1. Open the post.
  2. Click the gear icon to open the settings panel.
  3. Set the URL slug, publish date, SEO description, and category (posts only) from that panel.

How do I delete a post, page, or category?

  1. Open it.
  2. Click the gear icon.
  3. Click "delete".
  4. Click "delete" again to confirm.

How do I search my posts in the dashboard?
Go to Dashboard → Posts. A search box is next to "start a post". Typing part of a title filters the list. Typing "draft" or "drafts" shows all draft posts. Typing "schedule" or "scheduled" shows all scheduled posts.

How do I schedule a post to publish later?

  1. Open the post.
  2. Click the gear icon.
  3. Set "publish date" to a future date and time.
  4. Click publish. The button label changes to "schedule post" automatically when the date is in the future.

How do I email a post to my subscribers?

  1. Click publish (or schedule) on a post.
  2. In the modal that appears, check "send email to subscribers?".
  3. Confirm. This requires a lykhari pro subscription.

How do I change my blog's theme or color?

  1. Go to Dashboard → Settings.
  2. Search "theme".
  3. Select a color. It applies immediately. This requires a lykhari pro subscription.

How do I connect a custom domain to lykhari?

  1. At your domain registrar, add a DNS A record pointing to 178.156.128.50.
  2. Go to Dashboard → Settings.
  3. Search "dns".
  4. Enter your domain in the custom domain field and save. This requires a lykhari pro subscription.

How do I add a favicon to my blog?

  1. Go to Dashboard → Settings.
  2. Search "favicon".
  3. Upload an image.

How do I edit my blog's homepage?
Go to Dashboard → Home. The homepage is a post and is edited the same way as any other post.

How do I pin a post or page to my blog's navigation menu?
On the Posts or Pages list in the dashboard, hover over the item and click the pin icon.

How do I enable comments on my blog?

  1. Go to Dashboard → Settings.
  2. Search "comments".
  3. Toggle comments on. This requires a lykhari pro subscription.

How do I see who is subscribed to my blog?
Go to Dashboard → Members. This lists everyone signed in on your blog and shows whether each person is subscribed to email updates.

How do readers subscribe to a lykhari blog?
Readers sign in with their email address directly on the blog. No separate subscription setup is required by the blog owner.

What is the lykhari inspiration feed?
A dashboard view that generates short, quotable snippets from a blog's published posts. Each snippet can be downloaded as an image, copied as text, or posted directly to X. This requires a lykhari pro subscription.

Data & migration

How do I get my blog's RSS feed?
The RSS feed is generated automatically at yourblog.lykhari.com/rss.xml, or yourdomain.com/rss.xml if a custom domain is connected. The link is also listed under Dashboard → Settings.

How do I export my blog's data from lykhari?

  1. Go to Dashboard → Settings.
  2. Search "export".
  3. Click "export blog". This downloads a JSON file containing the blog's data. Available on all plans, including free.

Can I import an existing blog into lykhari?
Yes, from Ghost or Typepad. Go to Dashboard → Settings and search "import".

What is included in the free plan?
Editor, a free yourname.lykhari.com subdomain, built-in SEO, pages, categories, image uploads, RSS feed, and scheduled posts.

What is included in the pro plan?
Everything in the free plan, plus custom domain, email newsletter, comments, inspiration feed, and additional themes. Pro costs $5 per month or $50 per year.
