The first version of Lykhari is live
First version of Lykhari is launched.
What I could accomplish for first version in a short period of time is a lot more than what I expected.
In first version you can
- Write blog posts in crazy good editor.
- Editor supports markdown formatting and is WYSIWYG. It is built on top of lexical.dev
- Formatting options include h1, h2, h3, bold, italics, underline, strikethrough, superscript, subscript, linking, code, quote, numbered list, unordered list, paragraphs, check list, divider, left/right/justify alignment.
- Upload images.
- Embed youtube videos.
- Assign categories to your blog posts.
- Make new categories
- Have category pages out of the box e.g. blog.lykhari.com/category and it will by default have all the posts of that category. Super helpful for SEO and organization. You can also edit category pages, just like a post and the posts list will show up beneath your post.
- For each post customize slug, description, and publish date. (scheduling not supported yet)
- Editor saves your work all the time. You can keep draft of work and publish when ready.
- Users can subscribe to your blog and you can send your posts directly to their inboxes.
- Build pages that show up in navbar automatically.
- Pin category pages to navbar.
- Change blog title, description, and favicon.
- Change your own name as an author.
- Hook your own custom domain name.
All of it for mere $4.1/month if paid yearly. $5/month otherwise.
More to come.
Until then.
